The Cole Summer Writers Institute made the VCSD website with a story from the Communications team that highlighted the week and the overall “Cole” experience. The article focused primarily on this year’s Institute, but also did a great job in getting reactions from Cole writers about their feelings toward the week, the structure of the Institute, and their feelings toward writing.
“We eat, drink, sleep and breathe writing for the entire week,” explained Lily N-S., who attended Cole for a third year this summer. “It is great to have a group of people to share writing with. Even though some of us didn’t know each other before this week, it’s good to feel that we are in this together.”- Lily N-S, ’26
